As advertised in H&H and elsewhere, our horse lorry is for sale.

Details are as follows:

2010 Peugeot Boxer chassis.  Professionally built by Maneline coachworks (Norfolk) to a very high standard.  Third axle added so that it's plated at 5 tonnes gross weight, with a payload of 1360KG.
Travels two medium/large horses rear-facing in comfort, and benefits from a low loading ramp and excellent, airy, inviting horse area.  This lorry is a doddle for one person on their own.

Built from a brand-new chassis it has approximately 5,700 miles on the clock and is still under manufacturer's guarantee (March 2013).  Immaculate inside and out, it is practically as new.

Has a 6-speed gearbox and is very economical, drives very easily.  There is a reversing camera that switches between the horse area / rear of the vehicle depending if you are in reverse or not, or upon selection.

The horse area is well padded and has a partial (half height) partition, jockey door in the breast bar panel through to an area for feed, hay nets etc. that is separate to the living.  It's really easy to clean out after a trip or a show.
There are two external tack lockers that are capacious and easy to operate.

Living
The living sleeps two very comfortably (stayed away for over a week on a trip to France).  It has:
  • Double bunk (converts to sofa)
  • Excellent power shower
  • Double Hob
  • Fridge
  • Toilet
  • TV/DVD
  • Safe
  • Gas powered heaters
  • Electric hook up

The living is very well made, and has lots of nice little touches such as double lock on the living door for security to a powered retractable step to ease your tired legs after a hard show!  There is loads of storage, (7 overhead cupboards, wardrobe, boot cupboard).

Very genuine and reluctant sale of this excellent custom-built lorry.  Offers in the region on £40,000 (private sale, no VAT).
